Degrees and Certificates

What’s the difference between a degree and a certificate?
Certificates require fewer general education courses to complete. Most focus on technical courses to prepare you for entry-level jobs or additional training in a specific area.
Degrees focus on a wider range of knowledge and skills and are geared toward preparing you to transfer to a four-year college or university or pursue further workforce training.
